The Social Studies curriculum at South Miami Senior High is designed to meet the needs of a diversified population. The department offers Advanced Placement and Honors courses in grades nine through twelve. A wide variety of electives are offered, including Law Studies and Psychology. The department believes a curriculum which imparts this knowledge is the catalyst for preparing students for the future.
