Our TV Production department at South Miami Senior High is operated by an all-student staff ranging from grades 9th through 12th. They have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology, learn all the different elements of what creates a great newscast, sharpen their news writing skills and so much more!

Some students who have graduated in the TV Production Magnet at SMSH have moved on working at well known news stations such as CBS & NBC6 news.

Within the four years of learning, the pupils get educated in the proper learning environment that has a feel of what real productions are like.
