Jamba Juice Fundraiser is October 24th! Tell everyone to support Cobra Readers by going to Jamba Juice at 208 Miracle Mile on Saturday (tomorrow), from 8am-9pm. Please take the attached flyer. Enjoy some fresh-squeezed juice and support Cobra Readers at the same time! Here's a link to their menu.
- The Miami-Dade Elections Department is offering a great
opportunity for students to earn community service hours
from 3pm-7pm. The community hours would consist of data input.
The location is at 2700 NW 87 Av in Doral. For more information

- The South Miami College Colloquium for Gifted Students
will take place on Wednesday, October 28th, 2009 in the Media
Center. For

- Target's Take Charge of Education program is an easy way to raise money for a school. Any holder of a Target REDcard Charge Card can designate a school to receive credits each time the card is used. Target will donate 1% of the purchases made at a Target store and .5% of other Target Visa charges. For more information click below.
- David Fairchild Elementary needs school volunteers. Students
that are interested can sign up in the Activities Office.
The volunteers would be for (9/15) Open House/Spaghetti Dinner,
(10/29) Halloween Family Fun Night, (11/20) McLamore Feast,
and (4/24) Family Fun Day Carnival
- Homecoming Week: Sept. 29 - October 3
- Dolphin game tickets will be available through Athletics and Activities. $25.00 each game (per person). The actual value of each ticket is $52.00. The game dates are Sept. 21 (deadline to order Aug. 28th) and Oct. 25th (deadline to order Sept. 30th). If you are interested in purchasing tickets you can prepay the tickets and order them through Athletics (Ms. Raflowitz) and Activities (Ms. Rodriguez) starting August 20th.
