BOOK BROCHURE - Directions: Fold a sheet of paper so it has three columns. You should have 6 sides.

Front cover: Title/Author, Personal Book Cover (Not the one on the book), Name

Back side: Summary/Critique of the book (About three paragraphs support your ideas.)

You must also include the following: (One per side)

o Four significant quotes from the book and explain why each quote is significant.

o Character Descriptions- (Choose 3 characters) How do they act? What do they do? How do they look? Explain

o Setting- Where does the story take place? In what ways is the setting important?

o Ten vocabulary words with the definition and page number.

o Create an alternate ending

*You will be graded on presentation, creativity, grammar, spelling and accuracy in using information from the novel

We will discuss the novel during the first week of school.  Please do not ignore this assignment!  Additional assignments will be given in class during the first week of school. Please bring your brochure, along with your book, on the first day of class. This assignment will be worth multiple grades; please do not take it lightly!
