Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats
----For users of Microsoft Office 2003 download this to open, edit, and save documents, workbooks, and presentations in the file formats new to Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.

2007 Microsoft Office Add-in: Microsoft Save as PDF
----For users of Microsoft Office 2007, this download allows you to export and save to the PDF format in eight 2007 Microsoft Office programs. It also allows you to send files as e-mail attachments in the PDF format in a subset of these programs.

Sophos Antivirus
  

Virus protection software is provided free of charge for authorized employees to install on up to two of their home computers. The license covering software distribution from Sophos is limited and distribution to other non-employees is currently prohibited. Click on the icon on the left to log in with your employee ID and password to obtain the anitvirus package.

Home computers currently running Sophos will be upgraded automatically when they retrieve their update beginning on January 28, 2008. The file needed for this new release is larger than the updates normally received, so the download will take longer. Most users will not need to take any action for the update. If the software needs to be reinstalled for any reason, the new version must be downloaded from the from the following site: http://antivirus.dadeschools.net.

  • All employees who have previously have requested Sophos will have their download counter reset to allow two additional downloads.
  • Users with dial-up Internet connection should request a CD on the Web site. Old CDs should be discarded. The old version of Sophos will not install after January 28, 2008.
  • If a reinstall is needed, follow the original instructions to set up the configuration with the employee number and dadeschools password.
