South Miami Senior High

A major project for the Media Center in the 2008-09 school year has been the reintergration of the audio-visual services into its range of resources. With this change, the Media Center now oversees the library and all its services, the school website and now audio-visual services.

 

Among the major changes made to the AV Department include:

  • The discarding of obsolete and broken equipment such as:
    • 16mm film projectors
    • 35mm filmstrip projectors
    • Califone tape players/recorders
    • 24' LP record players
    • 16mm EZ-Viewer
    • coaxle only 14 inch televisions
    • overhead projectors
    • VCRs
    • VHS camcorders
