What is the FEA (Future Educators of America) Club? To expand and demonstrate to the student population the power of knowledge and its influence on society. Also, to encourage students to consider, as a career choice, the field of education.

Club News

• FEA will be participating in the "Adopt a Teacher Program" once again this year. If you need any help after school, please complete the attached document below.
  • FEA Adopt a Teacher Sign Up for Teachers
• Yearly Activities:
  • Teacher of the Month: Students have the monthly opportunity to nominate and recognize a teacher who inspires them, and who they feel demonstrates high teaching standards. Club members are responsible for running this event, and presenting the Teacher of the Month with rewards.
  • Adopt-A-Teacher Program: Club members earn and fulfill their community service requirement while providing their assistance after school to teachers.
  • Community Tutoring: Club members volunteer at local elementary schools, and have the opportunity of accumulating more community service hours.
  • Shadow A Teacher Day: Club members can “shadow” a teacher for a day to observe the daily activities of one of their teachers. This event provides students with insight regarding the daily in’s and out’s of being a teacher.
  • Teacher For a Day: Club members can trade places with any teacher who wishes to participate. Club members take on the role of “teacher” for a day.
  • Teacher Appreciation Week: Club members organize activities to recognize the hard work and dedication demonstrated by SMSH teachers.
  • Book Drive: Club members run a book drive. These books will be donated to community programs/schools in need of reading material.
  • Bake Sales: Club members will hold monthly bake sales to fundraise for yearly activities.
